Theo Moton is the Dean's Fellow for Diversity and Student Inclusion. Theo monitors the DEI health of undergraduate and graduate students, bringing awareness of relevant discussions to the College of Education via periodic meetings with the College's Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Education (DEME) Committee and/or Dean Mouza. "This position is important on the basis that, in community, we need one another," Moton said. "As this role has developed, I've seen the need to hear the actual needs of our students, faculty, and staff around diversity and student inclusion. Being a College that is empathetic and caring is critical to everyone's success—student success and beyond."
