Two faculty members from the College of Education have been nominated to receive the MLK Champions Award from the MLK Commemorative Planning Committee.
Osly Flores, assistant professor, Education Policy, Organization & Leadership, and Asif Wilson, assistant professor, C&I, were honored at the ceremony on January 21.
The MLK Champions recognition program celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., MLK by recognizing the power of community action to honor local partners, students, faculty, and staff who have dedicated their talents to enhancing a movement of justice, equity, and dignity.
