Monday and Tuesday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Wednesday: 8 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
The Center for Education in Small Urban Communities will host the 12th annual Chancellor’s Academy. This year’s theme, “Making Teaching and Learning Visible,” sets the tone and focus of the center’s professional development efforts as it moves forward.
Facilitators from the center will engage teachers from local schools in interactive sessions covering high-leverage teaching practices and their role in productive teaching and student learning across subject matter content. Common Core State Standards, culturally specific practices, and the Danielson Framework will be embedded within the learning.
