Alumna and adjunct faculty member Sarah Zehr, Ph.D. '16 EPOL, was recently interviewed by the Arab-American Business and Professional Association about the value of internships as part of the student experience.
The non-profit spoke with Zehr, who is also assistant vice president for Academic Affairs for the University of Illinois System, about her research findings. Dr. Zehr earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education from the College of Education at Illinois. Her research interests include experiential learning programs such as internships, cooperative education, and apprenticeships, as well as higher education policy and international issues.
