Online EPOL graduate student Fawzia Reza is the editor of a new book, just released from Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
Diversity and Inclusion in Educational Institutions highlights how academia should create inclusive practices so that everyone feels welcomed. According to Reza, the book is unique because it offers a diverse perspective of ways educational institutions have addressed inclusivity, historically. The book description says:
"Today’s educational landscape requires practitioners to move from a teacher-centric to a more inclusive and student-centric approach. To address the diverse needs of students, educators must understand the challenges they face, and learn how to address them. This volume highlights the significance of diversity and inclusion practices in educational institutions."
Reza's book is now published and can be purchased through Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
