Following the email announcement from System Human Resource Services regarding this new statewide holiday, the Dean's Office emphasizes that classes will not be in session on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Faculty and staff are encouraged to plan accordingly for this mid-week holiday when developing Fall 2020 course syllabi.
The Election Day holiday declaration is intended to enhance opportunities for all faculty, staff, and students to exercise the right to vote, while promoting voter safety during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
