Congratulations to College of Education alumna, vice provost for International Affairs and Global Strategies, and professor of EPOL Reitumetse (Reitu) Obakeng Mabokela who has been awarded an honorary doctorate in Education from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
Dr. Mabokela was honored on April 22, during the University of Pretoria's 2021 virtual graduation and conferral ceremony, broadcast on YouTube at 7 a.m. CDT. View the ceremony program and link to the recording at the UP website.
Mabokela, originally from South Africa, has devoted a significant part of her career studying higher education issues in developing and transitional countries.
