Darienne Ciuro Sanchez has been appointed to the Bilingual (Spanish-English) Elementary Assistant Principal at International Prep Academy in Champaign.
Ciuro Sanchez earned their principal licensure from the College of Education in August of 2024 and is pursuing their doctorate in Education Policy, Organization & Leadership. They also hold an M.S. in Atmospheric Science from Illinois.
Ciuro Sanchez comes to Unit 4 from Urbana Middle School, where they served as Dean of Students, Bilingual Special Education Teaching Assistant, and Dual Language Teacher.
