As part of the University of Illinois' Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration, Rebecca Ginsburg, associate professor EPOL and director of the Education Justice Project, will deliver the MLK Celebration Lecture.
Ginsburg's presentation is titled Finding the Beloved Community in Prison. Every year, as part of the Campuswide MLK Jr. Celebration, one distinguished faculty member is asked to speak about the ideals and legacy of Dr. King.
The lecture takes place on January 21, from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m., in the OVCDEI Conference Room 3080 at 614 E. Daniel St. in Champaign. If you cannot attend, the lecture will be streamed. Register for the stream at go.illinois.edu/MLKLecture.
