Kevin Frederick, Ed.M. '18 C&I, was honored by the Illinois Reading Council with the Jerry Johns Reading Educator of the Year Award.
This award recognizes an outstanding teacher who makes contributions to promoting literacy among students, colleagues, and school communities. He will be presented with the award at the IRC Conference this March.
Frederick is a first-grade teacher at Dr. Howard Elementary School in Champaign. The announcement from Champaign Unit 4 Schools is available here.
