Applications are now open for the College of Education Public Engagement Faculty Fellows Program for the 2025-26 academic year.
This program is open to all full-time faculty with their primary appointment in the College of Education. Faculty may apply as either a Research Fellow or a Teaching Fellow. Applications are due by March 28.
Fellows meet monthly as a cohort to discuss their community-engaged work and provide input into College-level public engagement strategy. All fellows work closely with one or more educational community partners, including schools, educational nonprofits, after-school programs, summer camps, and community colleges located in Illinois. Additionally, the College provides modest grants of up to $6,500 to support each fellow’s community-engaged work.
