The dedication and commitment of Champaign resident Phyllis Robeson, Ed.M. '58 Ed., as an ambassador of the Youth Literature Festival has helped make the event exceptional. As a former teacher and as a grandmother, Phyllis understands the importance of YLF as a way for young people to establish connections with authors and their books, with the goal of making reading a permanent part of kids’ lives.
