Stephanie Renee Toliver, assistant professor Curriculum & Instruction, has been named a recipient of the 2024 Outstanding Qualitative Research Book Award from the Qualitative Research SIG of AERA.
The award for her book, Recovering Black Storytelling in Qualitative Research: Endarkened Storywork, was given in recognition of her significant contributions to qualitative educational research methodology.
The Qualitative Research Special Interest Group, QRSIG, established in 1987, was created to provide a space within AERA for the discussion of philosophical, ethical, and methodological issues in Qualitative Research as well as to seek cutting-edge approaches to qualitative research methods.
