Royel Johnson,'10 LAS '11 Ed.M. EPOL, has been named one of the Los Angeles Times' DEIA Visionaries.
Johnson, one of 87 selected for this honor, is an associate professor at the University of Southern California's Rossier School of Education. As director at the USC Race and Equity Center, he oversees the National Assessment of Collegiate Campus Climates (NAC), a key initiative evaluating racial climates on college campuses.
