Osly Flores, assistant professor EPOL, has been named a co-recipient of the Division A 2024 Emerging Scholar Award from the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
Flores was recognized by the award committee for his research's scholarly and practical implications related to race-conscious transformative school leadership and its centering of the voices and experiences of individuals historically marginalized by educational institutions.
He will receive his award at the AERA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA, on April 12.
