Congratulations to Education Policy, Organization & Leadership's Porshe Garner, Ph.D, who is the recipient of the Arts Based Educational Research (ABER) Outstanding Dissertation Award for the best Doctoral Dissertation that explores, is an exemplar of, and pushes the boundaries of arts-based educational research.
Garner will receive her award at the ABER business meeting at the AERA 2019 Annual Meeting, and will present highlights from her dissertation. In addition, she is invited to submit a paper highlighting her work to the International Journal of Education and the Arts. The ABER Special Interest Group also supports her conference fee and provides $500 to assist with travel to AERA to present at the conference.
