The Sustainable World Collaborative, a group of researchers within the College of Education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, has created an online database called Sustainable World to support educators in making sustainability a central focus of cross-disciplinary instruction.
The team recently debuted their database, geared for pre- and in-service P-20 teachers, at the National Science Teaching Association's national conference in Chicago, July 21-23, 2022. This database was created to support educators in making sustainability a central focus of cross-disciplinary instruction. All resources have been evaluated to ensure their utility for classroom settings, alignment with NGSS values, and cultural responsiveness.
