The College of Education online academic review process has begun. All graduate students are required to complete a self-review by January 15, 2014, irrespective of whether you plan to graduate in December 2013 or May 2014. If you are a master degree student, you will note the form includes many doctoral milestones which you can disregard. At a minimum, you do need to upload a resume and fill in the courses you plan to complete. The review is a check for you and your advisor that you are making progress to your degree.
To begin:
- Login to the College portal: http://my.education.illinois.edu
- Look for the "ED Grad Student Toolbox" header (if not listed, you may use the "Add content" in the footer to add toolbox)
- Click on the link for "Self-Evaluation Student Input Screen."
- If you have two entries listed (i.e., one for the department of EPS and one for EPOL), choose EPOL.
- When uploading documents, please upload them as a PDF. Familiarize yourself with how to create a PDF file.
You may edit and save your self-review as many times as you need. Do not mark the evaluation "complete" until you are ready to submit as you will no longer be able to edit your evaluation. (If you need to re-open an evaluation, contact your academic staff person. See the wiki web site below for contact information.)
Self-Reviews not marked "complete" by the January 15th deadline will not be considered submitted and an academic hold will be placed on your record.
