  • Can pet dogs be infected with coronavirus?

    U. of I. pathobiology professor Ying Fang and her colleagues determined that a Chicago-area dog was infected with the virus that causes COVID-19 in humans. The National Veterinary Services Laboratory in Ames, Iowa, confirmed the test result.
