Although food insecurity affects a significant number of cancer survivors, few oncology dietitians interviewed by researchers at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign indicated that they routinely screen their patients for it. Co-authors of the study, from left, Anna Arthur, then-professor of food science and human nutrition; graduate student and first author Amirah Burton Obanla; and Brenda Koester, associate director of the Family Resiliency Center.
