CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The University of Illinois College of Law will host a panel discussion at noon Friday on President Trump’s executive order on immigration.
The discussion, titled “President Trump’s Executive Order on Immigration,” will be an opportunity to provide the community with a legal and scholarly analysis of Trump’s executive order on immigration and its ensuing litigation and activities, according to organizers.
The discussion will be moderated by law professor Lesley Wexler. Panel leaders include Jason Mazzone, the Lynn H. Murray Faculty Scholar in Law and co-director of the Program in Constitutional Theory, History, and Law; and Colleen Murphy, a professor of law, of philosophy and of political science, and the director of the Women and Gender in Global Perspectives Program.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Max L. Rowe Auditorium in the College of Law Building, 504 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Champaign. Lunch will be provided for session attendees.
