  • How should universities handle controversial speech?

    College of Law dean Vikram Amar

    The proper way for individuals to register dissent with speech they find offensive doesn’t involve blockades, shouting down speakers or threatening violence. It’s more speech, said Vikram Amar, the dean of the University of Illinois College of Law and the Iwan Foundation Professor of Law.
