    Judges can unilaterally dismiss sexual or racial harassment cases through summary judgment, a legal maneuver that ends up favoring employers over employees, said Suja Thomas, the Peer and Sarah Pedersen Professor of Law at Illinois and co-author of the book “Unequal: How America's Courts Undermine Discrimination Law.”
