A graduate student hourly position is available to conduct research project and develop a process for the electrochemical waste water treatment. Key responsibilities will include literature survey, planning and executing experiments, data analysis, and report preparation. A position needs to learn to use instruments and discuss the obtained data with ISTC staff to improve the process
Required Qualifications: Good laboratory skills and strong motivation/willingness for research are highly required. The candidate should have safety awareness for the working environment. A graduate student in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field is preferred. Ability to work with minimized supervision. Ability to prioritize, accomplish tasks, and meet deadlines. Good communication skills with others.
Work 10 hours per week at $16 per hour. Working time may be negotiable.
