Student Hourly at Illinois Sustainable Technology Center
The Illinois Sustainable Technology Center, a division of the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign is seeking upper-level undergraduate/graduate research hourly with a chemical engineering/nuclear and plasma engineering/chemistry/mechanical engineering background to work on a 12–24-month research projects related to Plasma based CO2 capture and conversion.
Job Description:
Good hands-on laboratory skills are required, and additional research tasks are possible, depending on skill level, experience, and motivation. The candidates should have safety awareness for working in the above-mentioned environment. Both advanced undergraduate students and graduate students with a working knowledge of chemical conversion, plasma, mass-spectrometry, familiarity with laboratory procedures, and other analytical instrument operations are preferred.
Student hourly position will be for at least 10 hours per week with some schedule flexibility. Salary will be $18-$25/hour depending on qualifications and experience. Send your resume to Dr. Chinmoy Baroi (cbaroi@illinois.edu).
