The Illinois Service Coordination Forum ("IL SC Forum”) is the primary community of practice (CoP) for service coordinators currently working in the Illinois Early Intervention system, partnering and supporting each other in the very important work they do. To learn more about the other SC forums, please visit the Illinois Service Coordination CoP page.
We hear you and are here for you! Using feedback from our SC community, the IL SC Forum has a new format and resources as of July 2026. For more details about these changes, please see the IL SC Forum Announcement sent July 16, 2026.
Joining the Forum
We encourage every SC to join this forum because it's a great place to gain knowledge, solve problems, and learn from each other. The service coordinators of Illinois are a vital workforce that has a wealth of resources and insight about how to best serve families of children with developmental delays or disabilities. The forum is a place for Illinois SCs to share, grow, and belong!
- Forums are on the 1st Thursday of each month (except July and January) from 10:00 am - 11:15 am central.
- Register individually for the sessions that you can attend.
- The registration link for the next meeting is always at https://go.illinois.edu/ILSCForumRegister
- EI credit is awarded, but the types of credit vary per meeting.
- Topics change each month but rotate through the following:
- Community Agreements (pdf) - please review the shared expectations for all members to help create a safe, welcoming space
- Please complete a brief survey to submit specific questions and tips in advance of each meeting. This survey is included in your registration confirmation email.
