The deadline for 2026 nominations is March 16, 2026. The College of Nursing and Scholarship Committee are proud to honor outstanding graduating students!

STUDENT AWARDS
The following two awards are for graduating undergraduate and graduate students from all regions:  

Cardew-Mullane Award in Clinical Excellence and Leadership
Established by the late Dean Emily Cardew and later endowed by the late Dean Mary Kelly Mullane, this cash award recognizes outstanding clinical skill and leadership abilities in graduating undergraduate and/or graduate students. Up to two students can win this award.  

Graduating Student Recognition Award:
 This cash award is given to graduating undergraduate and/or graduate students who have displayed academic excellence and initiative in actively supporting the UIC College of Nursing. Up to two students can win this award.
