Purpose:
Participants will be able to identify legislation, regulation and/or policies being considered or recently passed in Springfield and how their involvement or lack of involvement impacts outcomes for the profession.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify two regulations or policies debated in Springfield this year
- Discuss why it is important to be an advocate for policy change
- Describe how engaging in policy shapes the profession and healthcare in general
Target Audience: RNs, APRNs, LPNs, Nursing Students
