The call for proposals is now open for the BRIDGE Seed Fund, which provides funding to advance the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s research and engagement missions in collaboration with the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

In collaboration with the University of Birmingham, the BRIDGE Seed Fund is now accepting proposals for the 2025-2026 academic year. Permanent faculty and research staff members at each institution may submit applications for funding.

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Birmingham are tripling their investment in their partnership to develop new signature research collaborations.
