  • The Windy City AOC Scholarship Award Program

    The Windy City Association of Old Crows (WC-AOC) is extending their scholarship deadline to November 30th. This scholarship is open to Chicago-area college students in STEM and with an interest in National Defense.

  • Bailey Scholarship Program

    The Bailey Undergraduate awards are $3000 awards ($1500/semester) given each year to undergraduate students at UIUC who have demonstrated positive impact and commitment as a result of service, community involvement, leadership, and action. Financial need and academic achievement will also be considered.

  • Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship

    Students who demonstrate financial need and come from an underrepresented group will be eligible to receive a renewable $10,000 Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship. If you are a Freshman/sophomore undergraduate students with a 3.0 or above GPA you are encouraged to learn more about this opportunity here.

  • Cargill Global Scholars Program

    Cargill Global Scholars receive an annual scholarship award of $2,500 for up to two years, participate in a fully-funded three-day leadership seminar during the first year of the program and a fully funded Global Leadership Seminar to be held at one of Cargill’s global locations during the second year of the program, and are paired with a Cargill leader who will serve as a mentor.

    The deadline for phsase I of the HSF Scholarship is February 15! Create a MyHSF profile and start Phase 1 of the application today don’t let the opportunity to apply for an HSF scholarship pass you by! This phase should only take 30 minutes to an hour, to complete. No essays or recommendations are required for Phase I.

    The Anne Elizabeth Suratt Memorial Scholarship Fund is designated for juniors, seniors or fifth year undergraduates.   • NCSA REU-INCLUSION

    National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) is seeking students to apply for a 10-week paid summer software-in-research training program. Successful applicants will work full-time on one of socially-impactful INCLUSION research projects that develop and use open source software.  Applications must be submitted by March 18, 2019 to receive full consideration. Program session: May 20 – July 26, 2019

  • UC Berkeley Engineering Preview Day

    The UC Berkeley College of Engineering is hosting its sixth annual Engineering Preview Day, April 10-13, 2019. This 3 day event is for students who intend to pursue a PhD in engineering and plan to apply this coming fall. Preview Day provides students the opportunity to meet individually with engineering faculty in their discipline, socialize with Berkeley graduate students, network with campus research centers and Bay Area National Labs.   • Software Engineering Fellowship

     Sof organizes a competitive fellowship that gives students the opportunity to work with software developers on open source geospatial projects during the summer. The fellowship runs for 12 weeks, June - August, and fellows will receive a $6,000 stipend.  Detailed information about this program and the application can be found here. The deadline for the application is March 15th, 2019.
