  USDA APHIS Wildlife Services will soon be hiring 38 Biological Science Technicians nationwide, including three in Illinois.  This is a unique announcement given the number of positions available and the short window in which to apply (June 4th – June 8th).  These positions are full-time, term appointments and are a great opportunity for a recent college graduate to get into the federal system.  In Illinois, the agency is filling one position in Peoria and two positions in Orland Park.

  Many of our employees start out in the Technician position and move on to Biologist or supervisory positions within USDA.
