    Resources for the online version of System Overview Follow-up (SOFU) training held in Zoom meeting room.  After the training, if you need additional support, please join us for our New to Early Intervention (EI) Forum.

    Prerequisites for Virtual Training:

    Please complete the following activities in addition to the usual SOFU prerequisites:

    Be prepared to discuss these activities at the training.  Estimated times to complete the activities are listed.

    1. Watch the Introduction to EI video and note examples of our shared EI principles/philosophy you see within the video (10-15 minutes).
    2. Review the "How to Participate in Zoom (pdf)" handout. (5 minutes).
    3. Complete the Where Do You Stand? (pdf form) handout. (5 minutes)
    4. Complete the IFSP worksheets (Google doc) as you view the selected IFSP videos (total 1-1.5 hour):
      1. Chapter 2.1 – Levels of Development: Communication
      2. Chapter 2.2 – Levels of Development: Cognitive and Self-Help
      3. Chapter 3.2 – Child Outcomes 1 & 2
      4. Chapter 3.3 – Child Outcomes 3

        • Both are required to upgrade your credential from Temporary to Full. Use the form to record your monthly meetings held with a specialist-level provider. This form must be submitted along with the Consultation Verification form and subsequent renewals. The form can be sent in when 75% of the total meetings are complete.
